German at Woking HE Group – Taster Session

Following 2 very successful terms with our French Club, we are now offering a German for Beginners taster session with Anna’s Language Lab.

When: Wednesday 2 November 2016, 11:00 – 11:45.

Where: Woking HE Group, 7th Woking Scouts Hall, New Community Building, Woking Park, Kingfield Road, Woking, Surrey, GU22 9BA.

Who: children age 6 – 10

Class description: lessons consist of a variety of activities including traditional teaching, games and craft activities as well as the use of tablets and laptops to practise the weekly topics. The Beginners German Club is suitable for children aged between 6 and 10. This term’s theme is “All About Me”. Children will learn how to introduce themselves and say how old they are, greet people, talk about their family and pets as well as learning interesting facts about Germany.

Class size: the regular class will have 4-6 children. We can accommodate more at the taster.

Dates of regular class: regular class time will be 11:00 – 12:00 (60 minutes long) and commence the week after the taster. It will run for the remaining 4 weeks of the second half of the Autumn Term (9, 16, 23, 30 Nov) and resume after the Christmas break.

Cost of taster: £5 per child.

Cost of regular class: £9 per session. The fee includes all the craft materials and worksheets but does not include £5 charge for the course booklet which contains all the vocab and facts about Germany that will be covered in the lessons.

To book a place for the taster: make a payment of £5 per child by either PayPal to bookings@wokinghe.org or bank transfer to account number 72056968, sort code 30-99-80. If using PayPal make sure you choose the ‘Family and Friends’ option to avoid transaction fees.

Follow your payment with an email to bookings@wokinghe.org providing your child’s name and age. You will receive an email from us confirming your payment and place.

Payments are non-refundable unless the session is cancelled by us.
